An Invitation

Mercury Sent to Admonish is a new recording and live performance project by Christopher Owen.

It marks the convergence of music and visual practice into a singular artistic world.

The project is now entering its next stage.

Over the coming months I will be developing a live performance and building relationships with the people who will help shape it. I am interested in meeting musicians, recording and mixing engineers, filmmakers, photographers and other creatives who are drawn to building complete artistic worlds — people who value creative risk.

The music currently being developed has grown from a body of recordings created under the name as if by remote. These works form the foundation of the project and can be explored here.
